Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and KNGCuts ("we", "us"), a barbershop at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey. By creating an account or booking an appointment on kngcuts.com, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Accounts

• You need an account to book. You must be at least 13 years old; if you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
• Give your real name and a phone number and email where we can reach you about your booking.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for bookings made from your account.
• One account per person, and book only for yourself.

Booking and payment

• Booking online is free. You pay at your appointment; the price is the one shown when you book.
• One cut per client per week (Monday to Sunday), so everyone gets a fair chance at a slot.
• A booking is confirmed once you see the confirmation screen and receive the confirmation email.
• Prices, services and opening hours shown on the site can change, but changes won't affect a booking you've already made.
• Occasionally the barber may need to move or cancel an appointment (for example illness or an emergency). We'll tell you as soon as possible by email or phone and help you find a new time.

Cancelling, lateness and no-shows

• Cancel from your profile as early as you can, ideally at least 24 hours before, so someone else can take the slot. There's no fee for cancelling.
• Please arrive about 5 minutes early. If you're late, your cut may need to be shortened or rescheduled so the next client isn't kept waiting.
• If you repeatedly miss appointments without cancelling, we may limit your ability to book online.

The service

• Tell the barber before your cut about any allergies, skin or scalp conditions, or anything else that could affect the service.
• The barber may decline or stop a service if continuing could be unsafe or unhygienic, or if someone is being abusive.
• Results depend on your hair and what's realistic for it. If you're not happy, tell the barber at the appointment or contact us soon after, and we'll try to make it right.

Reviews

• Reviews must be about your own appointment and reflect your honest experience.
• No offensive, hateful, threatening or illegal content, no personal information about others, and no advertising.
• The barber reviews every submission before it appears and may decline or remove reviews that break these rules. We won't edit what you wrote.
• By submitting a review, you let us show it on our website with your first name and last initial. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

Photos

Gallery photos show the barber's work and belong to KNGCuts. We only post photos of clients who agree, and we'll remove any photo of you if you ask. Please don't copy gallery photos without permission.

Using the site

Please don't:

• make fake or duplicate bookings, or book to hold slots you don't intend to use;
• try to get around the booking rules, access other people's information, or break or overload the site;
• copy or scrape the site's content or data with automated tools;
• use the site to harass anyone or for anything illegal.

Liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it's provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. To the extent the law allows, KNGCuts isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site, and our total liability relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid for the appointment in question. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law, including liability for negligence that causes injury.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; if we do, we'll cancel any upcoming bookings and let you know.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. If there's a problem, please contact us first and we'll try to sort it out. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled by the courts of Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know by email or with a notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
